A typical room is a day including prep; a whole-house interior usually runs three to five days depending on ceiling height, trim and how much patching is needed. Prep is the majority of the labor and the part that determines how the finish looks — filling, sanding, caulking and masking take longer than rolling the walls, and a quote that is much cheaper than the others is usually cheaper on prep.
